Editor-in-Chief / Art Director / Podcast Producer / Writer / Editor

Joined Raffia in 2020 as a writer, editor and creative team member. Now in charge of all the day to day of the Magazine and producing the podcast Culturally Curious. She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Arts and Culture Studies with a Minor in Gender and Diversity, currently doing a Research Master in Art and Visual Culture at Radboud University and a Master in Museum Studies at Leiden University. Trained in inclusive sex education and passionate about women’s and disability rights advocacy and feminist pornography.

Treasurer

Started as an editor for Raffia in 2015 and was the editor-in-chief from 2016 to 2021. Studied Cultural Anthropology and Development Studies at Radboud University, with a focus on gender and sexuality.

Alex Banciu (they/them)
Secretary / Social Media Manager / Writer / Editor

Began as a writer and social media manager at Raffia in 2023. Currently in charge of all the secretary-related activities, social media and graphic design. Holds a Bachelor in English Language and Culture, and is currently enrolled in a Master in Graphic Design and Digital Media. Experienced in managing communication channels for cultural and literary institutions.

Giulia Ghidelli (she/her)
External Affairs / Writer / Editor

Joined Raffia in 2023 as a writer and editor. She has a Bachelor’s in Anthropology, a Master’s in Sociology and a second Master’s in Human Geography at Radboud University. Her specialisations and research interests are migration and asylum systems, queer asylum, queer and gender studies, social and environmental justice, and media.
